Rick Kinsey, Host of "Deep Cuts"
Trained at the early age of 12 on reel to reel tapes by
his older brother Bill (who was also a DJ), Rick learned
how to blend songs for an optimum listening experience.
Deep Cuts was conceived from the Underground FM stations of the late 60’s and early 70’s where album cuts were played commercial free. Like those early shows, Rick tries to plan and organize the music with the intention of allowing the listener to experience the meaning and message of the song. It’s all about the music.
Rick is also a private pilot. He and his wife, Kathy, love to hike and travel, and of course, attend live music events.
